PRINTING
For more than 20 years, Network Print Solutions has been providing an extensive range of quality, cost effective printing services. We have the ability to do Web, Sheet fed and Digital printing with numerous custom coatings as well as full bindery and mailing services.

Offset Printing


Offset printing is the most commonly used process in the industry today. Offset printing can be used for almost all print projects: business cards, flyers, brochures, catalogs, business forms and much more. Offset printing allows the use of a large variety of paper stocks and coatings and includes both Sheet fed and Web processes.


Advantages of offset printing compared to other methods:

  • Consistent high image quality. Offset printing produces sharp, clean images and type

  • Cost. Offset printing is the least expensive method to produce high quality printing in commercial printing quantities.


Sheet Fed Offset Printing


Sheet fed printing offers consistent high quality work at reasonable prices for small to medium print runs. Presses run from 4000 to 7000 impressions per hour, which is ideal for flyers, brochures, business cards, post cards, catalogs, business forms and more.


The primary benefits Sheetfed Printing include the following:

  • It gives very sharp, good quality prints and it can be used on a wide variety of substrates.

  • It is a very green, low emission process. Soy based inks are becoming less expensive.

  • Sheetfed printing allows rapid job change and is more efficient than web for short-run work.

  • The use of UV hybrids allows printers to add UV capability without committing to it.

  • The ink is fully dry and ready to ship immediately as it comes off the press.

Web Offset Printing


Web presses are used for longer print runs. Ideal quantities, depending on the project, start at a minimum of 10,000 pieces per project. As an offset process you will get a good result but the presses run a lot faster (30,000 to 50,000 impressions per hour) than sheet fed presses so your pricing per piece is less expensive. Typical web run projects include catalogs, flyers, brochures or almost any high volume print run.


The advantage of Web Offset Printing include the following:

  • Quick Turnaround – The advancement in web press technology allowes us turn around your projects a lot faster than just a few years ago.

  • Cost Effective – Since the benefits of using a web press include significantly less press time, (30,000 to 40,000 impressions/hour) we can afford to offer extremely competitive rates for high quality products.

Digital Printing


The digital printing process is perfect for short run last minute projects: business cards, flyers, post cards etc. There are no minimums and quick turnaround. This process produces high quality print pieces within one to two days. It is not cost effective for medium to long run projects.


The advantage of Digital Printing include the following:

  • Shorter turnaround.

  • Every print is the same. More accurate counts, less waste and fewer variations, due to not having to balance ink and water during press run.

  • Cheaper low volume printing. While the unit cost of each piece may be higher than with offset printing, when setup costs are included digital printing provides lower per unit costs for very small print runs.

  • Variable Data Printing is a form of customizable digital printing. Using information from a database or external file, text and graphics can be changed on each piece without stopping or slowing down the press. For example, personalized letters can be printed with a different name and address on each letter. Variable data printing is used primarily for direct marketing, customer relationship development and advertising.

Typography


Typography is the art, craft and techniques of type design, modifying type glyphs, and arranging type. Type glyphs (characters) are created and modified using a variety of illustration techniques. Our in-house photographer provides a range of digital product, food, architecture and other photography services anywhere in southern California. Product Photography


Product photography is done in a studio. We require a minimum of 2 hours per job as it is neccessary to build a custom set up according to the product's specifications.
We will only shoot on your location if the products in question are too heavy or still being manufactured. Many times, such is the case with industrial photography. Other exceptions include time restraining situations or the need to protect the product from exposure to the public.
Ultimately, we will do our best to accomodate your needs and fulfill your goals, always taking into account, quality of product, personalized service and timely delivery of final files

Food & Beverage Photography


Food photography is usually carried out on location on a per hour basis, but it varies depending on the number of items. Half day minimum is required for studio based photography and food and set designer is an added cost and not included in the list of prices attached - please do feel free to call to discuss what you require. We will work with almost any budget to make sure that your business is well represented with images that are compelling and professional.

Real Estate Photography/Architecture


When it comes to real estate photography and architecture photography, our service and flexibility come second to none. Having worked in real estate for many years, our photographer understands the importance of space, lighting, mood and high dynamic range. When shooting an exterior, we will come up with a plan to ensure you receive the best quality possible. Interiors are shot, prefferably,under the mid-day sun.
